I do not often see newer Lincoln cents minted in Denver down here in the southeast and it is more of a surprise when you find one that has a variety on it. Such is the case with this 2007 -D Lincoln cent that will be added to the files as 2007D-1DER-001WS.

While not very strong, there is light moderate step deviation under columns 5, 6, 7 amd 8. There is also light fluting line extension under columns 2 and 3. Hopefully there are more out there.

BJ,
I will also send you 2 1989-P wavy steps that i found...They are not even listed on copper coins at all...so I think this is a new discovery. I will send them along with the 2007-P wavy steps.

Thanks for sending these dies to me. I'll send you my address in a PM.

By the way, if you look in the "links" section on this forum, under the educational sites, you will find the complete listings for wavy steps and trail dies. Coppercoins does not have a complete listing of all dies, only the strong ones.
