Here is a 1956 d very well circulated Lincoln I found awhile back.
It has been classified as a 1956D-1MM-001.
If you know of any other classifications it could be please let me know.
Thanks

I believe this is 1956D-RPM-001. It's a repunched mintmark.

That is also 1956-D Lincoln cent, RPM-001, which is CONECA's filing number. It is also WRPM-001 and CRPM-001 (Wexler and Crawford filing numbers). If you look in the Cherry Pickers Guide, you will see it listed under 01-1956D-502 (new number) or 022.1 (old number). The number that you have is the Coppercoins' number, which when you do look it up on that site, has all these numbers.

Mostly all the strong variety dies have multiple listings, used by multiple people and organizations and at times, it can become confusing. However, little can be done to correct these many listings and the best suggestion is to know from where a particular number originates; that helps a lot in knowing what you have.

Hi BJ and Mike,

Thanks ever so much for checking this out.
You are both providing educational information for us so we can be more aware of what we are looking for and what we happen to discover.
I will definitely look at the different listings and make certain they are all included with the coin. Of course, I might have to get some bigger labels for my individual coin containers to get all this on them. :o
You fellas are the greatest!
