Hi:
Found this lincoln cent going thru rolls recently
Is this a strike through "grease" and if so, any value to this coin because of this?

It might be "grease" or it might be a remnant of the floor of a disintegrated die cap. Worth perhaps ten bucks on a good day. If you can, give us a blow-up of the area between the rim and the base of Lincoln's bust. There may be something interesting going on there.

It appears simply to be the irregular margin of the obstructing layer.
