No. What you've got is a cent with numerous perforations of the copper plating that were inflicted some point after it entered circulation. The perforations allowed the underlying zinc to react with oxygen and corrosive corrosive compounds, causing subsurface corrosion. This pushed up a swollen ring around each hole.Mike Diamond.
