CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 2006-P 1DEO-008T ?

I was trying to match this in the 2006 trails files. The die crack and the notches in liberty look like they match 008T. The rev. die scratch in bay 7 is not on this coin. Could this still be an 008t.

Yes, it can be possible. Your coin could be an earlier die state, one that does not have that die scratch. While I can see the trails and they are in the correct direction, I still can not tell by the other pictures if this is the # 8 die.

      Hi BJ
This coin would have to be a later die state then the one on the site, if you look at pic #1 a large chip has formed in the crack.

I did not see the die chip in the first photo. It would be a later die state and the die scratch may have faded to a point that it could not be seen.
