A combination of DDO and mechanical?
Coin was in a roll, and had a tough ride at some point...lots of scratches (groan)

The G looks like it's suffering from die deterioration doubling. The faint doubling around the B looks like a consquence of die movement between strikes. Proof coins are struck more than once.

These odd points in the corners are a feature I've never encountered on silver GW's.......Thanks for the info Mike

I totally agree with mike yes it looks like Die deterioration doubling, sorry eyesore . I do see possible notching on the G through , could be a doubled die plus Die deterioration doubling also both can coesist on a coin .Brad Coinart

Proof Doubled Die's are hard to confirm. I know for sure in hand you can see more than a photo will show. but you can send off to get attributed or graded.
I agree with Mike

Hit an auction in the middle of a blizzard last year, and got a bunch of rolls at melt..I'd set the 61 GW off to the side meaning to get back to it, and just plain forgot too.
One reason for the distraction was that there were 2 of these in the mix of Roos. There were also a half dozen gem Type B GW's
