79 suzy ...a must see

Got this suzy a couple of days ago at a local bank......

I got some suzy's with filled or deformed mintmarks, and this is a really good example.

...but something didn't feel right, I stacked this suzy with others, and immediately.......I saw it.

No reeding..........huh??? well...maybe just a hint.

I've heard of this error, but never seen one, if i'm right, this is some kind of collar error. The reeding is very faint, wonder how this happened?

This one is going for submission!!!

Just a guess but I would say that this coin saw alot of slot machines. That is one reason why the reeding might be gone. I wouldn't send it in for grading if this is the case as that isn't going to add to the value.

It looks like the reeding was obliterated outside the Mint.
