1989 cent with RDV005 reverse

Hello,
A friend I recently wrangled into roll searching with me has found what we believe to be a 1989RDV005. After looking on variety vista I am not sure if any others have been found. Any help we can get on this would be greatly appreciated.

Your pictures do show a serif atop the leg of the G when magnified. That would make it the correct reverse for that year 1989.

Thanks, I can see what you are talking about when I magnify the scan 200%. Guess I need to get one of those stero mics, 16x with my eyes just isn't cutting it anymore, and I can take pictures with the mic.

Kie - A stereo mic is the way to go and you can take pictures through it very easily. If you do indulge in buying one, spend a little more for a zoom feature. I find a 7X to 35X or 40X to be quite satisfactory.
