Found a penny with only 200 ?

I got my usual penny's for the bank and found a penny with just 200
This was not worn off, the grain... is good using a 200 power scope

So any guess as to the last number 200?:)

If any was ever reported?

It's undoubtedly a filled die error. Gunk was clogging the recess that corresponds to the missing digit. These are very common errors in all years and denominations.

This appears to be a double strike, above the date there is a faint 8 next to the rim in this shot I can see very plain on the camera. But this shows up as a golden 8 above date to the left and up.

It's impossible for me to determine the nature of the blemish from your photograph.

Looks like 2003-D to me, hard to tell what caused the missing bits though from the picture. Any way to get a closer up shot of the date/mint mark area?

I will try and see if my friends camera is better.

Also The faint 8 or 3 is to the right of the date and close to the rim.
