I have heard in the past that some auctions conducted by "state unclaimed properties" have had "unethical" bidding at times. I am not one to pass judgment on just hearsay, however, this auction seems to fit the description that was given very well.

4 Lincoln Cents With Mint Errors
Maybe I am missing something or overlooking a certain coin in the bunch that is worthy of such bids.

There are no hidden treasures in this group. Considering that the current bid price is at least 10X what the coins are worth, I'd say your suspicions have some validity.

Well, I gotta tell you guys something, and its tough to admit cause it is spooky as hell.
Long time ago, they had some good error auctions, and I bid. I was lured, not sure how, cause I don't remember why. (my memory is worse and worse anymore).
Anyhow, these folks attract attention and get lots of bids. Key words are 'Texas and Taxes'.........they draw a crowd and I do not know Why,....... I just do know what my gut tells me and they are not to TRUST.
Why?
I am serious here. Certain things, certain things happen in life, and I cannot put my finger on it........ its bad ju..ju.
Elevated bids are one and they are ALWAYS out of context.
Sometimes I've been known to be superstitious, with reason and plenty of evidence plus all other sorts of things, but what is important is that I've survived thru gut instincts and killer intuition.
Too weird BJ, that you bring this particular seller to light, actually I am stunned.
