CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • Picture size reduced to 600 X 600

I decided to reduce the maximum size of images to 600 X 600. Larger than this and it becomes difficult to rapidly scan from one image to the next for comparison purposes. If there is a howl of protest, I can always return to the old 800 X 800.

Mike…this explains why I could not get a photo to load last night. I had not problems with the picture size when I posted my first photos the other day, but last night I spent a couple of hours trying to reduce the size. I have no problem reducing the KB’s, but there is no way (that I can figure out) to reduce the dimensions of the photo in the software that I use (Microsoft Power Point)…they are around 700 X 500 no matter what I do. Could you please change the maximum size back to 800 X 800!

    Thank You
