1916 Mangled Lamination?

I found this 1916 Lincoln Cent and am wondering how much of this damage if any, happened at the mint or after the fact. I think it's a lamination but then theres the crack in TRUST and Liberty and the gouges in Lincolns shoulder and back of his head.
Seems like a metaphor or maybe a coinaphor for the state of the union, TRUST broken and LIBERTY cut, theres even some dirt in the presidents eye. lol

Hi Dale - very nice picture and I believe this is all due to lamination peel, however, when Mike Diamond takes a look at this, he will be the defining attribution of this coin.

Cool, I'll look forward to hearing from Mike then, thanks BJ. The reverse looks fine with the wheat lines all visible. I have a photo of the reverse also but didn't seem necessary to post it. The crack over LIBERTY continues over the rim about half the thickness of the rim then comes back up just below LIBERTY to form a continuous crack.

As BJ said, this coin is afflicted with numerous lamination errors. The coin's surface is peeling up due to impurities in the alloy.
