At times, posting a photo onto a web page can seem like a problem. Here are two fairly simple ways of doing just that and both methods have been tested on this forum site.

1st Method. This involves having a photobucket account, which is not that hard to do. If you only post pictures every once in a while, use the free service. If you are an addict like myself, the premier account for $9.00 every three months gives you unlimited use of the photobuckets facilities. The site address is http://photobucket.com. After you have established an account, it is simple to upload your picture to that site and then down load it to CONECA forum. The only problem is positioning two screens in order to click and drag the info from one screen to the other. You then have three choices;

URL. link

html. tag

<img src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f292/Wavystep2003/P7160028copy.jpg">

and IMG code

It is a pretty easy system and you can get your photos on without much problem.

2nd method. This is also a very easy way to get your photos in this form and it can be accomplished from this page.

First, click on the "paper clip" indicated by the arrows in the below photo.

This will bring up an attachment manager page. Upload your selected images and close the manager page (on the bottom). Click the "paper clip" again and select images to appear in line, or else they appear as a link.

One thing to remember about this method is the photo size. It will not except anything larger than 800 Pix by 800 Pix, so make sure that your photo is resized to those dimensions or less. With photobucket, that is not a concern.

I am sure that there are other methods that are just as well suited for your use; just thought that I would give you a few more options.

Mike can set the max dimensions and image size the way he wants from the control panel. This is done separately for each image type, ie. jpg, gif, png, etc.

Hi, This is my first attempt to post something, sorry if I do this wrong.
I got this coin from a friend.What do you all think about this 2008 James Monroe dollar coin?
Thank you.

You have a lot of flash back in your picture which maybe caused by the protective case that the coin is in. For better results, try taking the coin out of its protection and then shooting your pictures.

Other than that, you did great. Welcome to the CONECA forum.

BJ, that photo is great. I sure would like to know what your exact set up is for taking them.
