CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Got this in an 2007P uncirculated set. Looks similar the CDDR-001. What do you think. Robe doubling???

Hi Steven - It looks very much like the picture of the doubled die on CONECA home page, so it very well could be robe doubling.

    Nice find Steven.

I was a little quick with the other photo and didn't look close enough at the coin. It shows what looks like two folds of the robe. I looked at Coneca's home page and the coin there came from one of two bank rolls the discoverer opened, I believe, and this one is in an uncirculated set, and thus the grainier look of the photos. Here's another photo.

        Steve:
It sure does look like a DDR. I listed the one on the home page recently as DDR-001. I would love to see this one, esp. since it is from a mint set.
