CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1964-D Kennsdy Half TDO I think Coneca DDO-014

    This is one of my good friends coins, I think its Coneca DDO-014, but not sure . Its from die 14, I also posting an image of the designer signature, I think it ( RDV-002 ) ..

      64D DDO-014

      There are two reverse die varieties for the 64D Kennedy Half Dollar, RDV-001 (Straight G), and the RDV-002 (Flared G), see attached photos. Also here are a couple of photos of the 64D DDO-014 in my collection.

            Please excuse the poor photos, these are just quickies taken on different angles of a stage (A) 1964-D DDO-014 from my son’s collection to show some of the markers and die scratches if someone wants to see if they match up to what they have (This coin has been verified by James Wiles as the DDO-014).
