CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • Possible New Discovery 2015-D North Carolina ( Blue Ridge Parkway ) DDR

This is the third one I've found, so I think it's time to post one . Not many DDO(s) or DDR(s) coming out of the Denver Mint theses days, at least for Quarters ..

I believe this to be isolated machine doubling since it has occurred away from the center. Of course an in hand viewing by an expert may prove it to be a doubled die.

I'm not sure either, its nice and round, not flat or shelve like looking . I put an arrow to the flower that shows the doubling

The way that it is rounded off, or tapered, at the ends reminds me of other recent 25˘ doubled dies. The Mount Rushmore DDRs come to mind. I am curious to see how this one turns out.

It also has a nice indent to bottom flower leave, next to the doubled one
