CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Here is a different shot. The MDS die marker for this DDO is the die chip at the bottom of the E in CENT. It's on Coppercoins, and Wexler.

I just wanted to see that area for grading the coin . Almost all of the Lincoln Cent seem to have the hair missing away there ..

Thanks Rick. It is a circulated coin so not MS or even close. It has a lot of eye appeal though. I'm no grader myself. I'm going to send it to ANACS for a grade and a slab.

Thank you Mr. Potter. I sent it to ANACS yesterday. My wife said "I hope this doesn't encourage you". Haha.
It is a really nice clean strike. The detail on the zero of the date is very nice. It has the MDS marker on CENT but the features look more 3 dimensional than pics I've seen on Coppercoins, and Wexlers site.

Excellent Find and congrats Tom.. I have seen a LOT of AU58 coins in my time that I would purchase before the MS60 counterparts sitting in display cases.
