Thread: possible oversized, underweight clipped planchet ?

  1. Exclamation possible oversized, underweight clipped planchet ?

I have been hunting for neat items to put into the error cases that I own and take to shows. In the CONECA case I typically place items that I am not willing to sell. I think this one will get slabbed and graded. My impression is that its simply a clipped planchet, but the size just seems wrong. The weight for this coin is 1.78 grams.

It's an off-center strike on a straight-clipped planchet. Its appearance is typical for this error type.
