Default 1883 5c with RPD & Die Cracks

I see in the cherrypickers guide an FS-05-1883-1302 like this, with a 3x 1 in date...but, the die cracks and issues around other numbers(chips, or, part of a forming retained cud?), make me wonder if this may be a new discovery.
Thanks
Calvin

I do not see an indications of an over date. To be F/S #05-1883-320 here has to be part of the 2 digit showing between the 8 and the 3 digit. In this case, all I see is a continuous die crack through the date.

Default RPD

Here's what Ken Hill said of the coin Friday:
Your coin is an RPD and is listed in Kevin Flynn's book on Liberty Nickel varieties as RPD-012. The listing in Flynn's book states:

Description: Repunched Date 1883/1
Repunched 1 seen below the serif.

Obverse - Die crack from the left star through the bust, then through the top of the 1. Die crack through the base of the date to the rim then throught the first four stars on the right. Die crack from the rim through the 5th, 6th, and 7th star on the right, the cap, the 6th star on the right to the rim. Die crack from the 2nd to 5th star on the left.

Reverse - None noted.

Your coin is a much higher grade than the Flynn plate coin and may be a later die stage. The plates in Flynn's book only show the date of the coin, so it's not possible to see the die cracks he mentions. His description of them seem to match what I can see on your coin.

Regards,
Ken
Since this is a high grade coin, with a later die state than previously seen, with die cracks starting on reverse, it will be profesionaly photographed for inclusion in future reference books.

Ah, you had me off on the wrong track. The Cherry-pickers guide, Volume-1 does not list 3 over 1 RPDs, only 3 over 2 RPDs.

I am still not sure where the 1 digit is seen under the three digit from your pictures unless it is the anomaly under the right side of the 3 digit that has a die crack protruding from it.

Congratulations on find a higher condition coin and a new die stage for that RPD.
