British 2 Pence wrong metal / planchet

Off Metal Planchets from Geat Britian / United Kingdom

I decided to purchase two off metal planchets from the UK. Both appear to be Unciculated.

The first off metal planchet is this:

Great Britain Two Pence wrong planchet 3.55 grams planchet weight.

This planchet is copper coated Steel. It sticks to a magnet.

Researching the Great Britain Two Pence off metal planchet so far has revealed the following possibilities - nothing real close to the exact weight of this coin:
    • In 1998 a Great Britain Two Pence wrong Planchet error was struck on a copper plated steel (magnetic) planchet. This planchet would be underweight only weighing 3.46 grams. The Great Britain Two Pence typically weighs 7.12 grams. This suggests that the Great Britain Two Pence may have been struck on a Malawi 2 Tambala planchet.
    • The link below provides info on the planchet that may have been used:

in 1999, a Great Britain Two Pence wrong Planchet error was struck on a copper plated steel (magnetic) planchet. This planchet would be underweight only weighing 3.19 grams. The Great Britain Two Pence typically weighs 7.12 grams. This combination strongly suggests that the Great Britain Two Pence may have been struck on a Gambia 5 Bututs planchet.

Other sources state that this coin may have been struck in 1993 on a 5 Tenge planchet.
