CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Promoting CONECA in KS and MO

    I've been state rep for Missouri and Kansas for a little bit now, and I'm trying to think outside the box for getting more numismatists interested in CONECA in my two little states. I've decided to give starting a Missouri and Kansas "chapter" of CONECA a try, and we're having our first in-person meeting soon! Here's a flyer for your perusal. What other things have y'all done to promote CONECA in your circle of friends and acquaintances? All ideas are more than welcome!
