CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • Abrasion tilt doubling? Left side letters

look at the last picture of G, the design. The small leg and body both captured a secondary design element, then just like repeating fashion O has that same design element in the same left place.

And if you DONT say whatever in the middle comes by what tilt has garnered enough to separate to spread, somebody will also question you.

Like as a tilt searches for an echo of substance, the nearest thing. Have you considered what had to have already happened to the left lower W, that the doubling should only find substance so relatively high on the left bottom. As if the point the tilt found then would be expressed as the ability to spread, by the point doubling was accepted because it only had so much surface left after the left bottom of W was abraded away. Like pressure CAUSES a type 9 doubled die.
