You definitely have an anomaly of some sort there. As to what it might be, it would require a closer look. Right off the top, I have no idea what it...

Can you add an arrow or something to what you are seeing? Is it on the ribbon, or on the upper shield? If it's that little bump at the top of the shield...

Your photos are not showing up. Can you give it another shot? Also...FYI, there has been and probably always will be some plating issues on these planchets....

Please be specific. What makes you think this is a planchet error, and what kind of error do you think it could be?

Difficult to say what kind or color grease they used on the machinery. Unless you actually work there on that machinery, anything else would be a gu...

This does appear to be a doubled die. The fact that it is on a D mint makes this an unlisted variety as far as I can tell.

Could you be a bit more specific? I have no idea what you are referring to.

No mint mark means this coin was struck at the Philadelphia mint. I don't see any DDO/DDR or error on the coin. A better focus might reveal more.

I see scrapes, stains and circulation wear. None of these are considered errors. Is there anything else I am missing?

How about being a little more specific about what makes you think this is a DDR? It would help up a great deal.

Due to the discoloring in the 'circle' I tend to think that this is a stain of some sort of liquid.

Looks terrible. It appears to be a struck through grease error though.

This appears to be die deterioration and maybe a little mechanical doubling to boot. It does not look like a broadstrike.

I agree. The photos are way too small to make an analysis of what you might have.

It does appear to be struck through some heavy grease. It is not feeder finger damage though. This is also the result of the grease.
