Hi jmcoinz you mention a group and coins that are new or different. I had a lot of free time a couple years ago and spent the most of it going through coin rolls pulling out all that seemed off to me. I have since regained my health and work a lot of hours but still strive to identify these errors & varieties. Is it possible I could join the group and send photos of the coins and see others coins in the hopes of learning which to keep and which to set free ie send back into circulation. please let me know if I can join the group and tell me how. Thanks

CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.
