When I first looked at it I thought it was a missing leg but the more I looked I could see a faint line. It sort of remined me of the floating roof on the Lincoln penny. If you turned the light on it a certain way iy looked like it was floating but then if I turned the coin I would see the lines connected. I guess it's what magnification that was used if it's a error coin. I know you will have me looking at my 2005 Bison Quarters. It's the type of coin I would buy at a yard sale or flea market if I didn't have a lope with me and take a chance it was a error varity. Good luck
