CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    2012 Canadian 5 cent DDO Unlisted

    Hey everyone, I could only upload so many photos so I picked a couple that display some of the obverse doubling I found on this 2012 Canadian 5 Cent. I believe it to be unlisted as well. There is a large amount of accumulation (die chips) along the lettering design elements leading me to believe this is a late die state example.

    Hi Paul....I am not into doubled dies much but it appears your coin isn't a doubled die but what is referred to as machine doubling.

      Hi Mr. Zimmerman, thank you very much for your reply. I have to say I do search quite extensively for errors like this and I did get a couple experts opinions on it and they all agreed it appears to be a true doubled die. That being said I would never argue with you or them regardless, and appreciate any feedback from you or the fine people on this forum. Thank you again.
