CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I currently don't go to Baltimore shows because if I do I want to set up as a dealer there. The table fees are a bit steep. If you are going to the Baltimore Show and want to talk to some one about varieties and some about errors, the ANACS rep that will be there knows a thing or two about them <smirk>.
Tell G that Minterrors said Howdy.

The other error coin more than variety dealer would be Mike Byers. He is an author of some error books and offers a free PDF download of a monthly error magazine at https://minterrornews.com. Within the pdf download are some prices of error type coins and a brief description of each.

Geoff Fults the ANACS rep covering the Baltimore show.

Not sure if Mike Byers is involved with CONECA but on occasion I do see a CONECA ad in the PDF he releases. Mike Byers is an author and error coin dealer.
