  • 1990 triple D Mintmark ?

I looked in Variety Vista and could not find a picture, but this picture seems pretty clear to as a triple D? It's a 1990 LDS Quarter. Any opinions?
    Thanks Teryble

Hi Teryble - you have found a machine tripling (versus doubling). All mint marks, on all denominational coins were placed on the master dies from 1990 to the present. So, unless it is a doubled die (similar to what is found on the 1995-D Lincoln cents) the mint mark will not be re-punched or RPM.

Machine Damage Doubling carries no premium value even if it is tripled.
