CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1976-D Bicentennial quarter DDR doubled drumstick

    Hello everyone, I have this 1976 bicentennial quarter and I believe it might be a ddr doubled drumstick. I'm being very strong at finding dds by the naked eye or a 10x loupe. Just don't want to use the scope. But the last picture I used the scope to get closer look on the doubling. I'm bad at looking for double dies unless I see something by the naked eye. Then I post to ask for advice. Right bottom drumstick ,and a little bit going on under his left arm and side of body. If this isn't doubled, then what would this be considered as. Thanks ​ ​ ​ ​

    When I tried to send a quote, an there were some hints there were photos, but I do not see any photos in your post. Strange.
