  • 2005-D 1c DDR of whole Lincoln statue???

    Heloo all!!

Can't help avoiding myself not to send this...But if this is a DDR of the whole
Lincoln statue (typically, doublings show only portions. e.g., feet, knees...).
This can be one of the evidences for the theory of multiple images I was trying to convey to the team.

    Thanks,
    J

I don't see anything other than post-strike damage.

Once again J, your "evidence" does in no way support your conclusion.

2005-D 1c DDR of whole Lincoln statue???

Thanks for the comment. Sorry for this late follow up.

        - Try to zoom in and you'll recognize some doubled images extending
to the right image (not mechanical damage ???)

        - Also found almost identical coin (but from Philadelphia, not Denver) with
similar doublings. Still unsure if really doubled images or mechanical damage
        as you indicated.

        Thanks,
        j
