CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

recommend? tbh, a good loupe and a lot of expeirence would rival a scope tbh but in my experience, a dslr camera and a microscopic objective (if both can be obtained reasonably) will blow digiscopes and microscopes outta the water problably cuz versatilty, diversity of function, quality etc but that takes some doing.

also, learning how to use what you have effectively is HIGHLY recommended. isn't easy tho but a lot of techniques to learn about and try.

It depends on the style you prefer. The budget you have and its potential use. I have two AMSCOPE TRINOCULAR set ups, but they have microscope cameras as well 14 or 16 megapixels and they can get pricey unless you find them on a Holiday Sale. The Microscope may cost close to 250.00 and the 14 or 16 Megapixel microscope camera may run close to 400.00 each. It depends on your intention.

In my opinion, I do not see it as FS-101. Your coin is much thinner in the date and the position of the doubling does not match.

I cannot do a Loupe. Not for long periods of time. I can do a 5000 count Lincoln cent bag in a few days with the microscope. As for me using a Loupe to do that, I would either be in the loonie bin or blind.
