CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Is this true quadrupling?

It appears to be machine doubling (or, more accurately, machine quadrupling).

J…I enlarged and increased the brightness on you photo. You should be able to clearly see this is MDD (Machine Damage Doubling).

Missed to send earlier this follow-up question....

Have further looked at Larry's enhanced photos (Thanks, Larry), and seemed to notice at least 2 (???) internal nose doubling outlines (the 3 external noses are clear and easily identified). Are they MDDs, too? You will also notice several doubled/multipled) eyelids , seems 5 of them (???).
If you match(is this valid?) the eyelids number to the probable doubled/multipled noses, can be 5 noses, too.

          Thanks again,
          J

No matter how many different multiple design elements are seen, the simple fact is that this is machine doubling, nothing more, nothing less.

Many thanks again for the clarifications. Myself and a few beginner collector friends have fun and excitement discovering/collecting them, too.
