CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Hello quick question- If the pillars are doubled does that mean is a DDR???? Thanks

    There are documented years for doubled Lincoln cent pillars.
    You can find more info at varietyvista.com . I have not looked at conecaonline.info to see if they are there. Doubleddie.com has some great articles as well.

    It's good practice to understand that a relatively newer working die will show more details of the memorial, like the back room which is one pillar left and right beyond where Lincoln sits.

    In my opinion, it's a collectible niche, but I do not know but of a handful of people for several decades that have asked for a ddo of columns or Lincoln and his surroundings.

    Also take into consideration that this area is subject to worthless doubling as well.
