1964 Washington 25C DDR rotated?
1964 Washington 25C DDR rotated? I was going through some of my 1964 Washington quarters that I’m preparing to send out for certification. While flipping it over I noticed that it is not lined up like some of my other quarters. It seems to be slightly rotated clockwise. Is this a common occurrence? The 6 in the date lines up with the E in quarter, The E in liberty lines up between the words “States of”. Thank you for your helpLast edited by Conan62; 09-02-2024, 01:56 PM.Tags: None

while some people will buy minor rotated coins, esp if they are a variety, toned, error etc the mint tolerance allows for a pretty decent percentage of rotation before they'd consider it an error but the collecting public usually has slightly different standards for such things.
is that a nicely toned over coin or is it just the images?coinfacts.com - conecaonline.info - board.conecaonline.org/forum/numismatic-site-links - briansvarietycoins.com - coppercoins.com - cuds-on-coins.com - doubleddie.com - error-ref.com - franklinlover.yolasite.com - ikegroup.info -lincolncentresource.com - maddieclashes.com - money.org - ngccoin.com/price-guide/world - ngccoin.com/census - ngccoin.com/resources/counterfeit-detection - nnp.wustl.edu - pcgs.com/pop - pcgs.com/coinfacts - pcgs.com/photograde - varietyvista.com - vamworld.com

Yes, I got the chance to talk to someone about it and they mentioned a tolerance of 45°? Is that correct? The coin in the photo is not toned it must be the image but it is a DDR Notching in United States, EPU and quarter dollar around the edges. Thanks for taking a look.
