1991 D Lincoln Cent
Appears to be a 1991 D DDR extra columns. Under a loupe it apprears to have the markings of FS-01-801. Deterioration on liberty is seen in the pics. 2 parallel die gouges in the loop of "G" in God under magnification. It may be a different die state than the one known what does everyone think? You do not have permission to view this gallery.

I am not a big fan of extra columns, doubled eyelids or ears. I will let some one else handle this one.
1991D does not have a DDR documented at variety vista.
In my opinion, I think it's not a good idea to compare DDRs from different years because each working die that has been a doubled die is unique. This one looks more mechanical to me. It's not just on the columns, it's on some of the outer letters as well. I'm not feeling the love on this one.
CONECA staff usually frowns on prices, especially when coins are raw. It's in the forum rules. They even mention no grading questions, for future reference. I think they tolerate coins that have been graded by a third party grading service.
Your best bet is to visit pcgs and see what they say it's worth. You find the date and mintmark of the coin. There is a little plus sign near the date. Expand that plus sign to reveal any varieties pcgs recognizes with prices.Last edited by MintErrors; 10-19-2024, 02:58 AM.Gary Kozera
