CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    it was already graded (and nice little toning), got a nice discount from an ebay promotion and turned out to be a discovery. some things it seems, are meant to be?

    I used to collect VAM's but they are awful common - in general. I looked at every VAM in the VAM encyclopedia for Morgans and highlighted everyone that was an R-5. I keep an eye out for those. I have seen a few toned Morgans that are absolutely gorgeous - at least to me.



    IF I find the time to go get them at the storage unit and photograph a few of the keepers in my personal safe I will post a few of them here as well. YES, in my own post.

            With all the notifications shut off, i stumble on replies like this one. I prefer it this way or, I would be spinning in circles. If it's semi important, I will pm you. Otherwise, it will be a casual @ mention. I don't mind PM's, from most people.

            I don't care for the ones that say I just posted something and can you look at that ? I try my best to answer some of them and I kindly responds.... sometimes that I will see what I can do. Some I just delete and look at the ones I would like to answer. There is plenty here, that's for sure.
