1864 L (RPD?) Cent
I think this 1864 L is a RPD (18/18 FS-2304) with Longacre doubling (?) and both obv & rev die clash. Appreciate any confirmation and/or redirection in the assessment.

In my opinion, it looks like a very late die stage, but an RPD.
Good find.
Rick Snow calls it Snow-5.
He gives it 2 of 5 stars for rarity/collectibility.
It says it cross references to CONECA RPD-005.
Obv - all digits repunched north with 18 additionally repunched south.
Stage A: No cracks.
Reverse:
Stage B: Die cracks at K11.
Bulging die at K6.
Stage C: More die cracks at K12.
Cracks from rim, at K5 to rim at K6.
Reverse rotated 5 degrees to left.Gary Kozera
