2004-P Nickel (RPM)
Hello there, just wondering if this would be a RPM. I know after 1982 the MM was built into the working dies. So usually these are mostly MD= Machine Double. Thought I would share just to be sure. Thanks PXL_20250111_174235832.jpg PXL_20250111_174449581.jpg PXL_20250111_174626967.jpgTags: None

In my opinion.... No its not an RPM.
After 1989, the mintmark became part of the design and eliminated all RPMs. This means IF there is doubling on a mintmark it's either some sort of machine damage or a doubled die. Of the two, the machine damage is a lot more available.
The 2004 P had one DDO listing. It is located here.

It's important to read the description to find where the doubling is located on known examples.Gary Kozera
