It is vital to read the descriptions on places like variety vista. This will help understand where the doubling is seen.

Although some of the photos online may be difficult to see the doubling, places like varietyvista.Com offers a description of where the doubling is.

Description: Medium spread on E PLURIBUS UNUM, dots, UNITED, and HALF

I believe the easiest area to see the doubling would be on E PLURIBUS UNUM at the very tops of the letters, on the right hand side.

Doubled dies are working dies made of steel, with multiple impressions on the working die. Those areas of doubling do not move.

Most doubled dies have both impressions at the same height when loo,ing at the target area. It should not be significantly lower. It should not have the letters thinner or flat on the coins flat field.
