So... please add a close up pic of the tail feathers, and another one of the leaves by the QUA of QUATER. A close up of the Mint Mark does not help with IDing a type C

I look at the "ES" in STATES.
In my opinion that is much easier for me to tell if its a Type B reverse.

        Here you go John.

I see the die cracks running through the tail feathers and the leaves into the QUA which match.

It is also a DDO and DDR. You can see the doubling in the A in QUARTER and in States especially the S.

I could point out many on the overse.

A have a dozen of these 64's and am familiar.

Been collecting for over 50 years.

I have a few 1964 no mint mark with the same satin reverse that I am unsure are attributed yet.

I cannot post here because of the rules of one coin.

1964 D do not come in Type B... it is either type A normal.... or type C reverse of 1965, the ES is the same in a A or C.

From your pics. I see no die cracks. a die crack shows as a raised jagged line on a coin. I see scrapes/damage to the coin. Again the ES does not show a difference between type A and C. The tail feathers show as a Type A. the Leaves show a type A
Sorry, This is a standard type A quarter.
