1964 P Washington Quarter DDR or Machine Doubling
Good evening. After viewing the Sticky about Machine Doubling, what I thought was possibly a new DDR variety now appears to be machine doubling. (FS-801 and 804 has the doubling going the other direction.)
I appreciate any insight or confirmation. I've already learned a lot just from reading a few threads. Thank you for your time. I took pics in natural and artificial light. The doubling in question is found in the words Quarter Dollar.You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Here is a link to John Wexlers doubleddie web site. It offers three links at the bottom and John compares the different type of worthless doubing against doubled dies.
Die varieties such as doubled dies, Repunched mint marks (RPMs), Over Mint Marks (OMMs), Repunched Dates, Overdates, coin design varieties, as well as regular coins and error coins.
