In my opinion, look at the entire coin. See that ring that goes all the way around the coin ? Its a circle pattern, it goes all the way around the coin and it appears to be post mint damage(PMD), its damage after it left the mint. The coin is circulated and when coins get into circulation they are are subject to abuse.
I cannot tell if its coin counter damage, coin wrapper damage or something else. Thats the best i can offer due to the photo being excessively blurry.
I do have a post in my signature block which offers a way to use a cell phone to take decent photos.
Additionally, varietyvista.com does not have any DDO listings for 1974 from Philadelphia.Last edited by MintErrors; 01-09-2026, 07:29 AM.
