  • 2008P 25c DDO Ear?

Found this 2008P Alaska 25c. To me it looks like the earlobe could be doubled. Any and all opinions are welcome as I learn this confusing aspect of the hobby.

    Thanks

I don't see anything around the earlobe - but if you are talking about that aparent bump behind the ear - it could be something. Your photos are very overexposed and don't show enough detail to make a reasonable guess as to what is going on. Can you try again with your images - defusing the light and/or reducing the exposure?

      Thanks Russellhome..
Once I readjusted the light on the USB microscope it appears to be post mint damage. Don't know why they were over exposed this morning as I had loaded my pre-set settings.
      Thanks again.

Or it could be a dent in the die if it's a raised lump.
