CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

[QUOTE=wavysteps;6282]I have just reread all your post on CONECA forum

JAZZ comment Well list the numbers of each thread and then i will back my self up and show you in detail what i see if you have the time before you even make these statements

Jazz and while this forum gives you the right to express your opinion, it also gives us the right to correct what we think is an error in that information given. In your case it does seem that the information is off base more than often

Jazz comment Well again give me the list and number of the theards and i will back it up

I also believe that at times you tend to be to critical, but that is just my opinion jazz comment a wrong opinion

As far as being banned from a this site, it has not entered my mind. Moreover, that would be Mike Diamond's prerogative and not mine since I am just a moderater.

Jazzcomment You don't have to worry about banning me i will never post here again and that's fine with me

I would hope that you use better judgment when looking at these post and pictures and not be so affirmative with your answers. NO EXPERT will tell you that it is a new doubled die from just pictures alone and ALL EXPERTS require an in hand examination to confirm that it is in fact a doubled die.

Jazzcomment Not in all cases but the majority of subjects yes ,but if the pictures are clear enough to tell you certainly can make a positive decription on the specimen by using your computer to magnify the image

As to other posts on other forums, I commented on just that one where you came up with some off the wall die number that did not exist in any filing system. I will not go over that again.

Jazzcomment Well it was a typing error do you make typing errors?

In the future, try and use a bit more common sense when entering posts.

Jazz comment I have more common sense then you will ever have ,to elaborate on something as a number that was an honest typing error seems pretty senseless to me when it was a honest mistake Jazzcoins

Jazzcoin - please post over in Coin Community Forum. They will except your misinformation without hesitation and I do imagine that you will be happier there.

        Good luck

Yes I'm back. Well it seems that I miss out on all the excitement when I'm not around. I'll start by saying I know nothing of jazzy's previous posts. The people who are here try to be very professional and take this seriously. Reason being is they want good information to get out there so colleectors don't get burned buying mislabled coins. I haven't been into coins for long but I have imersed myself in it and have found that there are many people and dealers out there that will tell you they know soo much but when you try and learn for yourself you will realize many have way too much hot air. Knowing Mr. Neff personally, I found it funny that jazzhands would comment on the commen sense he has, just the reactions and comments he made in this thread does make you sound like a child. There is creadibility and then there is percieved credibility, when you are looking for answers please take the time to figure out who has what. Who ever would no doubtedly say by photograph alone that this coin is this or that it seems would not care to make sure that the photo, or the coin itself was altered. That would be a big reason that credible people in this field would want to see it firsthand. There are many fakes out there, and even more people trying to rip you off. I don't know how much more "busy" these others sites are that he was talking about, this isn't the only one I read on but maybe that means much more useless chatter. What he circled out as mdd looked to me like he was looking at the side of a 3-D object. With so many with so much experience saying no and one person who I've never heard of trying so hard to say yes I know who I'd go with. Granted while I do much respect to the experts here I too have held a coin that I still questioned to maybe bring back up when I meet them in person so they can see in hand, but I wouldn't comment on how rediculous they are, or how there site sucks because they didn't see it my way. Just for my own pleasure jazz I hope you follow through on your promise and don't post on here again, although it might entertain me more if you did, maybe you'll learn something
