  • 2001P Cent Column 12 Doubling?

I already know that this cent has some very minor doubling on column 7 as confirmed in a earlier thread. While showing this coin to my lovely other half, she noticed something I missed and asked if this was also doubling on column 12. From my limited knowledge it appears to be to me, but will leave it up to those who know a lot more about this than me.

    Thanks
    Dave

This is a normal part of the design which you will find to the right of columns 1 & 5 and to the left of columns 8 & 12.

Steven hit the nail on the head. At times this feature is not seen due to worn or abraded dies.

        Thanks BJ and Steven.
That is what I was afraid of, but it never hurts to ask. Well I guess it could if one had a hang nail, but again, thanks for the info.
