CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Just a folllow up...

Have been going back and forth on BJ/Bob Trails website. for understanding.
Would like to take a shorter route in understanding by asking via laymen's (NVTEs) terms if probable:

    1. Fluting line extension of a column's images of its perimeter line and internal line designs past the STYLOBATE, sHRUBS AND BOTTOM OF BLDG?

    2. And Trails of design elements (other than the column's) past the STYLOBATE, sHRUBS AND BOTTOM OF BLDG?

    3. Combo of above Items 1 & 2 past the STYLOBATE, SHRUBS AND BOTTOM OF BLDG?

    4. Same above Items 1, 2 & 3 (lines/trails/combo) DOWN the STEPS and BOTTOM OF BLDG?

    5. Distinction from which design element caused the lines/trails/steps?

Not sure if we asked clearly...NVTEs

    1. No, there has nevver been fluting line extension beyond the Memorial building base line.

    2. Yes, the bae line itself has been extended along with the shrubs. See example; 1994P-1DER-001WST.

    3. Since 1 does not exist. no.

    4. No

    5. Most any design element can be the cause of an extension of itself. Those with sharp angular features are more prone to this (especially corners, either in relief or incused) for they provide an edge that can score or mar the dies surface.
