  • 2005P LCM 2X ear Trails and other Doublings Triplings???

This looks like an interesting 2005P LCM coin. Can you help identify the doublings and triplings we highlighted?

    Many thanks again!

The first photo seems to show the coin was struck from a clashed die the others appear to be machine doubling and die deterioration.

Just curious, where do you see clashed die remnants in the first photo? I'm having a hard time seeing them. Unless you meant the last picture which looks like a portion of the bay. The rest of the coin shows die deterioration IMO.

        Thanks,

          Hi Lestrrr,
The first picture does show a die clash. It is the vertical line under the earlobe. This is a common area for such and it general comes from bay 6.

weird! That's the one that I was referring to but it's the fifth picture. The first one doesn't have the earlobe in it. Either way, were talking about the same clash.

              Thanks,
              Lestrrr
