1939 D Walking Liberty Half Dollar

    Hi,

Picked up this coin a few weeks ago, 1939-D PCGS MS65. Pictures below, die crack going thru date, light tripling of stars in flag, doubling on "IN GOD WE TRUST", and it looks like a RPM. Any comments - ideas on what it is?
    Thanks in advance,
    Tim

Tim: This is indeed a DDO. It doesn't appear to be listed in the CONECA files. The mintmark appears to be machine damage. I would love to take a first hand look for you. Send me an email for the details.
    Thanks,

      Mr. Wiles,

We were planning on including this coin with our next "Box of Twenty" (LOL) that we will be mailing to you (thought we would break up a box of Kennedys).

My pictures are not that good But the mint mark has some good ridge details.

      Tim
