  • 2009 Professional Life Doubling Question

Please look at these photos of Lincolns hand and see if you can determine if it is machine doubling or another type. There also seems to be an extra appendage between the thumb and forefinger. Thanks.

It would help if there was an arrow indicating the area in question. From my interpretation of the photos provided I believe I see MD east of the hand. As far as an anomaly in between the thumb and forefinger I don't see anything - it could be a gouge, MD, a DDR or a plating bubble - without a clearer photo I cannot tell.

I agree, it's hard to tell from the picture. There's also some damage near your area of question. A clearer shot would be helpful.

I have to agree a clearer pic would be helpful to determine this.

Definitely looks like machine doubling to me.
