CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

        Looks like both to me my friend Rockdude Joe machine doubling and Die deterioration doubling and a cool coin with extreme ddd and MD doubling it's a keeper/
        These may take off one day when there to that extreme hold on to it.

            Yes a very unusual piece i have a 1984 quarter which is a doubled die classV1distended hub doubling, with die deterioration doubling mixed ijn but the letters are very thick and wavy with some splits, but no notching class v1 usually doesn't exsibit serifs
